You mentioned a few days earlier that when you’re trying to communicate between two Raspberry Pis (A and B), it’s more reliable to have Pi A run the required tasks (scripts) and cron job send them to Pi B compared to the method of Pi B running the scripts on pi A via SSH. I’m using this second method (one Pi runs scripts on the other via SSH) and lately I’m seeing quite a few breaks in the Cacti graphs because of this.
Could you please elaborate on the alternative method? What do you mean exactly by Pi A running the scripts and cron sending the results to Pi B? How can this cron sending be done? I’m not really a Linux expert, many details are greatly appreciated 🙂
I have installed catci on my rapberry-pi.
When connecting with my cactiuser to the console it doesnt accept the user. I dont understand what is wrong. I did the installation a second time and still the same problem.
Can you help me please ?
